Built by a JEE student, for JEE students
JEE Genius started in a hostel room after I bombed a Physics mock and opened the solution PDF to find — once again — three lines of equations with no explanation of why that approach was chosen. Every JEE aspirant has been there. The answer is correct. The approach is correct. And you have no idea how anyone would think to do it that way under exam pressure.
I built JEE Genius to fix exactly that. It is an AI tutor trained specifically on the way JEE Main and JEE Advanced problems are constructed. When you ask it a doubt, it does three things most solution manuals don't: it tells you which JEE concept is being tested, walks through the reasoning behind the chosen approach, and references past papers where the same idea has shown up.
How it actually works
Under the hood, JEE Genius combines a strong reasoning model with a retrieval system over a curated database of JEE past papers from 2014 onwards. When you send a question, two things happen in parallel: the model starts generating a step-by-step solution, and a vector search runs against past-paper content to find similar problems. If a close match exists, the answer cites the paper and year so you can cross-check.
For image questions — handwritten doubts, screenshots from a coaching module, photos of a textbook problem — the same pipeline runs after a fast OCR pass. Equations rendered in LaTeX render correctly in the answer; sketches and diagrams are described in words.
What makes it different
- Built for one exam. Generic chatbots try to be everything to everyone. JEE Genius is tuned for JEE-style problem decomposition — multi-concept questions, partial-credit answers, and the specific notation conventions both papers use.
- Past-paper grounded. Every solution that resembles a past question gets that citation, so you can see the original problem and verify the method.
- Free for the basics. The daily free tier covers normal study load. Pro removes the limit for the people who need it during mock-test season.
- No login wall to try. You can ask a few questions as a guest before deciding whether to sign up.
What's free vs Pro
Every JEE-relevant feature is in the free tier — chat with images, LaTeX-rendered answers, mock-test analyser, formula reference, and study guides. The Pro tier removes the daily question limit and includes priority response speed during peak hours. There is no "Pro-only" feature locked behind a paywall, because that's never been the point.
Privacy and your data
Your chat history is stored so you can reference it later, but it is not used to train any model. Questions are processed by Google Gemini per their privacy terms. The full breakdown is in the privacy policy.
FAQ
Is JEE Genius accurate? The model is right almost all the time on Main-level problems and ~90% of Advanced problems on first pass. For the rest, there is a Report button on every answer — flagged solutions are reviewed and the model's prompting is refined where needed.
Can I use it during coaching? Yes — most users use it alongside their existing coaching. It's a doubt-solver, not a replacement for structured study. Think of it as a TA who is available at 1am.
Why ads on some pages? The free tier costs real money to run. Ads appear only on the study guides and content pages — never inside the chat itself.
How do I report a wrong answer? Hit the Report button on the answer bubble. Every report is reviewed within 48 hours.
That's it. It's free because I'm a student too, and I know what it costs to prepare for JEE. If you have feedback, I genuinely read every email — see the contact page.
